Richmond Yeboah has a Master of Philosophy degree in Clinical Microbiology from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology where he investigated the epidemiology of Hepatitis E viruses among Pigs and Humans.  After his masters, he was enrolled as a PhD. candidate on a project funded by the European Union (EDCTP) through the PANDORA-ID-NET consortium. He has received training in viral diagnostics from the world class Institute of Virology, Charite in Berlin- Germany where he gained insight into the use of world class technology and techniques in viral diagnostics. He currently handles courses in Virology, Genetics, Molecular Diagnostics, General Biology, Laboratory Management, Laboratory Instrumentation and Laboratory Quality Management Systems. He serves as the examination coordinator for the Laboratory Technology Department. He is currently investigating the viral causes of encephalitis at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).
