Dr. Daniel Ofori is Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development. He attended Wuhan University of Technology in China for his PhD in the field of Industrial Economics, master’s degree in industrial and financial economics at Goteborg University in Sweden and finally his Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Geography at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in Ghana. The research areas of Dr. Ofori include Economics, Finance and Entrepreneurship. His Teaching areas are Economics, Engineering Economics, Finance, Entrepreneurship. Operations Management, Applied Econometrics and Managerial Economics.

He has attended both International and National Conferences, Workshops, and Seminars. He has published a lot of research papers in both International and National highly reputable peer review Journals.

Dr. Daniel Ofori has held positions of Deputy Director (IDCE), Head of Department Parallel Programmes (IDCE), Vice Dean (FEED), Head of Department (ENF), Faculty Examination Officer, Departmental examination Officer and Currently Programmes Coordinator for (FEED).

Dr. Ofori has served on  Academic  board,  Executive Committee, Faculty Board, Member, Appointment and Promotion Review Committee, Member, Institute Board, Institute of Distance Learning and Continuous Education, Member, Faculty Board, Faculty of Entrepreneurship and Enterprise Development, Member, Sports, and Recreation committee of the Welfare Services Board,  Member, Committee to draft Implementation policy, Kumasi Technical University, Member Committee on Sanitation and Environmental Safety, Kumasi Technical University, Member, Member, Committee to review Examination Malpractices, Kumasi Technical University, Member, Legacy Data Committee on examination, Chairman, Committee to establish Modalities for the Take Off of Distance Learning Programmes in Tema, Member, Committee to investigate missing scripts of the Business Administration and Diploma in Fashion Studies.     

Daniel Ofori was born into an aristocratic family in Ghana on March 23, 1973 at Banko in the Ashanti Region. He attended a number of schools and colleges, studying   Industrial and Financial Economics and Industrial Economics in Sweden and People’s Republic of China respectively. Ofori is an economist expert and a researcher. He is currently a senior lecturer at the Entrepreneurship and Finance Department in Kumasi Technical University dated from October, 2008 and also a member of the Chartered Economist Association of Ghana. Ofori is a Christian, born and raised a Roman Catholic. He is married.

I am energetic, versatile, analytical, creative, ambitious, proactive and an organized individual who is able to prioritize work load effectively and efficiently. I am an excellent team player and used to working in highly competitive and multidiscipline environments. I possess excellent interpersonal skills and I have gained a broader knowledge and experience through academic work and research projects. I am willing to learn new skills and methods of working and will undertake any training and development required. I am looking forward to a more challenging and dynamic environment where my current knowledge, skills and abilities can be fully utilized and enhanced.
