Jonas’ research interests are in the area of accounting and finance and include corporate governance, risk governance, corporate finance, firm performance, financial development, economic growth, international financial reporting standards, sustainability reporting and corporate disclosure. He has several publications in SSCI and Scopus Index Journals

Jonas is very versatile and experienced in teaching accounting and finance courses at the graduate and undergraduate level (financial reporting/corporate reporting, management accounting/performance management, public sector accounting and finance, taxation, cost accounting, strategic cost management, advance financial statement analysis & valuation in Banks, International financial management, corporate finance, business mathematics, corporate governance). He is also enthuse in emerging areas like forensic accounting and business analytics
