Ing. Surv. Prince Charles Acquah is a Lecturer and a former Head of Department at the Department of Civil Engineering, Kumasi Technical University. He earned his BSc. degree in Geodetic Engineering (Second Class Upper Honours) from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology. After serving as a Facilitator or Teaching assistant for one year, he was employed as a Teaching and Research assistant for two years with a responsibility of managing a GIS laboratory in the department of Geomatic Engineering. Surv. Acquah holds an MPhil in Geomatic Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and currently a PhD in Candidate in the same department. Due to his high research acumen and expertise, he has published in over seven high ranked journals and peer-reviewed conferences. He is currently a member of the following professional bodies, Licensed Surveyors Association of Ghana (LISAG), Ghana Institution of Surveyors (GhIS), Ghana Institution of Engineering (GhIE), International Federation of Surveyors (FIG) and Commonwealth Association of Surveyors and Land Economy (CASLE). His research interests lie within the application of Geospatial Technologies in Urban flood and Environmental Modelling and the management of Land and Natural Resources. He has over 15 years teaching experience in Principles of Surveying, Principles and Applications of Geographic Information System, Land Information Management, Global Positioning System, Large Scale Surveying and Engineering Surveying. He married to Rebecca and have been blessed with three children
