Lambert Kofi Osei

Lambert is a Chartered Investment and Securities expert and a certified expert in Microfinance. I am presently a Lecturer at Kumasi Technical University - Department of Banking Technology and Finance. Since I joined Kumasi Technical University, I have contributed heavily, in teaching, research and students’ development services. Moreover, before joining the University, I was the longest serving Chief Executive Officer of Eman Capital Microfinance – a leading Microfinance Company in Ghana. I was also the General Manager of Ghintex Ltd, a trading company that is specialized in oil marketing, supermarket business, restaurant, and Allied services. I am also a faculty member of Ghana Association of Microfinance Companies (GAMC) Training Center.

Until September 2020, I was the National Board Chairperson of the Ghana Association of Microfinance Companies (GAMC). At the same period, I was a National Board Member of Ghana Microfinance Institutions Network (GHAMFIN) - network body of all Microfinance Institutions in Ghana.

I am an associate member of the Chartered Institute of Securities and Investment – UK. I am also a holder of Certified Expert Certificate in Microfinance from Frankfurt School of Finance and Management – Germany. Again, I hold an MBA – Finance from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and Bachelor of Education from the University of Cape Coast. I have also obtained Diploma in Financial Management from the Institute of Commercial Management - UK. I also hold a final certificate in the Ghana Stock Exchange Securities Course. I am currently on awaiting qualification from the global renowned body (Association of Certified Chartered Accountants) ACCA.  Lambert is currently pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy degree in Finance and Banking at the Siberia Federal University – Russia. Currently, is the Training Coordinator/ Facilitator for the Blended Learning Facilitation for staff and students of Kumasi Technical University.
